Hello! I am so glad you are interested in submitting work for Quill + Chorus! Currently, I am looking for submissions for the November edition.
Quill + Chorus Theme (updated the 15th of each month)
Our theme for November will be dragons. Please feel free to interpret this as you wish, whether that be artwork depicting dragons or an essay on the figurative “dragons” we face from day to day.
Submission Guidelines
Poetry of all forms (free verse, sonnets, etc.) and artwork of all mediums (ink, watercolour, etc.) are welcomed. Essays should be non-fiction, between 200 – 2000 words, and centred mainly around literature, homeschooling, and Shakespeare. However, I am open to submissions on other topics.
How to Submit
Please attach artwork as high quality scans or pictures as a JPG file. Poetry and essays should be attached as PDF documents.
In your email, please include your first + last name, your age or grade, and the title of your piece. For artwork, please also include the medium(s) used.
Submissions should be emailed to bluebirdsandblackberries@gmail.com before the 25th of October.
